Cleveland Museum of Art
Gallery One has been described as a “game changer” because of the thoughtful, innovative, and strategic way in which the technology is used. It is not technology for technology’s sake, but rather technology that supports and enhances the visitor’s connection with the world-class collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The technology in Gallery One is sustainable, scalable and pedagogical in a way that has never been done before in a museum setting. It is these characteristics of the technology that have garnered worldwide attention for Gallery One and positioned CMA as the world leader in museum technology.
Gallery One is comprised of four distinct components: Studio Play, ArtLens, the Collection Wall, and the Lenses. The “Lenses” refers to the galleries and interactives located between Studio Play and the Collection Wall.
